For over three decades, Dr. Debbie Conner has been an integral part of the fabric of Myrtle Beach, building strong personal and professional relationships with family, friends, and neighbors. Her unwavering dedication to the community has earned her deep respect and admiration, as she continues to make a positive impact on the lives of those around her. 

 

As a distinguished faculty member at Coastal Carolina University's Spadoni College of Education and Social Sciences, she works to shape the next generation of educational leaders. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Clemson University, a Master’s in Education from University of South Carolina and has received national recognition for her advocacy of student success and retention. 

 

Beyond academia, Debbie has been honored for her outstanding leadership and community service, including serving with the United Way of Horry County and Santee Cooper Customer Advisory Board. Now seeking elected office, she seeks to put her experience, proven leadership abilities, and commitment to effecting positive change to work for the people of Myrtle Beach.

 

A resident of the Grand Strand for over three decades, Debbie has built strong personal and professional relationships within the community. Together with her husband Tracy, she has enjoyed the richness of Myrtle Beach living and cherishes spending time outdoors with their two dogs, Sugar and Watson. Their daughter, Kayla, resides in North Carolina with her husband and their daughter.
